Providence Development, LLC & Providence Twin Cities, LLC began in 2008 with the purchase of two foreclosed duplexes. Now after seven years in the business, we own and operate twenty-six multi-unit buildings with over 150 units in Minneapolis and St. Paul. We are family-owned and operated.
Several of our multi-family buildings provide safe, clean and affordable housing for subsidized renters. In the last few years, we worked with Hennepin County to replace windows and make eight of our buildings lead paint free. We work with several organizations including Minneapolis Public Housing, Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services, Mary’s House, St. Stephens, World Relief, Simpson Housing, Mental Health Resources and Crisis Nursery to provide housing. We enjoy giving hardworking people, who have found themselves in difficult circumstances, an opportunity to rent.
Due to the numerous requests for studio and one-bedroom apartments, we added a 26-unit apartment building in the charming Loring Heights neighborhood to our portfolio. This beautiful building with large studio and one bedroom apartments is on the Stevens Square Historical Registry and has hardwood floors and original woodwork. In addition we have also added a unique 31-unit apartment building in the North End of St. Paul that used to be an old theater.
